If a woman does not keep pace with her companions,
perhaps it is because she hears a different drummer.
Let her step to the music which she hears, however measured or far away.

E-Rock's Challenge

The day dawned cooler and windier than anticipated, but what gave pause was that ominous beast of a dark stormy sky lying directly above and beyond their determined point of destiny.

Should they chance being caught on rain-slicked granite, falling and breaking that damned hip of their senior years? What if one of them was zapped by Zeus’ lightning bolt? Should they play it safe – again? Or risk the chance of danger for a promised adventure ahead?

Already in their golden years, these four sisters of the heART knew there was precious little time left for playing it safe.  Each one quietly pondered in her own soul whether the risk was worth it. No one spoke, “Let’s take our chances and go.” But begin they did, each determined to experience in their bones what had until now been only a dream in their head.
