SEARCHING FOR SILENCE IN A NOISY WORLD...We all have special places we seek to be in quiet, in peace, in silence. Silence makes me feel alive. There are no distractions in silence and it is here that I find what is truly important in life.
Part of the effect of the wilderness is that it takes away all of the usual distractions. In the desert, there's no theology, philosophy, or ideology. You just have to figure it out yourself...(unknown, referring to Spencer's Christ in the Wilderness series of paintings).
Usually, in order to understand any picture of mine, it means taking a seat and preparing to hear the story of my life.
